G418/Hygromycin B Promotion
 

HeLa cells were transfected with a construct encoding Death Receptor 6 (DR6) and maintained in standard medium containing 450ug/ml G418 (Calbiochem). Transfectants were then probed with anti-DR6 antibody (DR6-04-EC) and DAPI.

Primary rat Schwann cells were transiently transfected with constructs encoding Xpress-tagged schwannomin N-terimnal variant lacking paxillin binding domain 1, and were maintained in standard medium plus 0.5 mg/ml G418 (Calbiochem). After 48 h, cells were stained with an Oregon green-phalloidin conjugate and with antibodies against Xpress.
