The NucBuster protocol is based on two proprietary detergent-based solutions optimized for sequential removal of cytoplasmic components and extraction of nuclear proteins. No dounce homogenization is required and there is no need for dialysis. The entire procedure is performed within a single microcentrifuge tube and requires only a vortex mixer and a microcentrifuge. Extracts ideal for electrophoretic mobility shift assays, and can be used for Western blot and other activity assays. |
