Liquid. In PBS. AVOID FREEZE/THAW CYCLES. Recombinant, full-length human 14-3-3z fused to GST at the N-terminus. The 14-3-3 protein family consists of a group of highly conserved proteins that may regulate the function of signal transducing complexes by modulating their enzymatic activity, conformation, stability, and/or intracellular localization. 14-3-3z has been shown to be an effector of Tau phosphorylation in neurofibrillary tangles. An inhibitor of ERK phosphorylation, but stimulator of JNK and p38 MAP kinase. Useful for in vitro binding assays and as a standard for immunoblotting. Purity: ≥90% by SDS-PAGE.
