4-(2-Aminoethyl)benzenesulfonylfluoride, HCl

White to off-white solid. PROTECT FROM MOISTURE. Specific, irreversible inhibitor of serine proteases. Inhibits chymotrypsin, kallikrein, plasmin, thrombin, trypsin, and related thrombolytic enzymes. Stable, nontoxic alternative to PMSF (Cat. No. 52332) and DFP (Cat. No. 30967). A b-secretase inhibitor that inhibits b-amyloid peptide (Ab) production and enhances amyloid precursor protein (sAPPUa) secretion in several cell lines at millimolar concentrations. Use at the same molar concentrations (0.1 - 1.0 mM) as PMSF for most applications. Purity: >97% by HPLC. CAS 30827-99-7.
