6-Bnz-cAMP, Na Lyophilized. HYGROSCOPIC. A potent cell-permeable activator of cAMP-dependent protein kinase (PKA). Activates both type 1 and type 2 PKA and binds to the cAMP binding site 2 on the regulatory subunit of PKA. It is only slowly metabolized by cyclic nucleotide-dependent phosphodiesterases.
