Protein Kinase Bg, GST-Fusion Protein, Human, Recombinant Liquid. In 150 mM NaCl, 50 mM Tris-HCl, 0.25 mM DTT, 0.1 mM EDTA, 0.1 mM EGTA, 0.1 mM PMSF, 25% glycerol, pH 7.5. AVOID FREEZE/THAW CYCLES. Full-length, recombinant, human Akt3 fused to GST at the N-terminus and expressed in S. frugiperda insect cells using a baculovirus expression system. Akt3 is a serine/threonine protein kinase that plays an important role in such processes as cellular metabolism, apoptosis and proliferation. Specific activity: ≥ 176 U/mg protein. One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that will transfer 1 nmol phosphate to Akt substrate peptide per min at 30°C using a final concentration of 50 µM ATP (0.83 µCi/assay).
