AZTTP Liquid. A 100 mM solution in H2O. PROTECT FROM LIGHT. AVOID FREEZE/THAW CYCLES. PACKAGED UNDER INERT GAS. A reverse transcriptase inhibitor that acts by docking to the active site of HIV reverse transcriptase. It's inhibitory effect is greater during the initiation phase of reverse transcription. Also reported to inhibit telomerase activity in vitro (IC50 = 30 µM). Acts synergistically with Cisplatin (Cat. No. 232120) to inhibit cell proliferation in some cell lines. Purity: ≥95% by HPLC. Note: 1 µmol = 531 µg. Ref.: Mickle, T., and Nair, V. 2000. Antimicrob. Agents Chemother. 44, 2939. Rigourd, M., et al. 2000. J. Biol. Chem. 275, 26944. Murakami, J., et al. 1999. Eur. J.
