Bone morphogenetic protein 6 precursor

Lyophilized. Recombinant, human bone morphogenetic protein-6 (BMP-6) expressed in E. coli and purified by proprietary chromatographic methods. BMP-6 is an osteogenic protein belonging to the transforming growth factor-b (TGF-b) superfamily. BMP-6 has been shown to strongly induce phosphorylation and nuclear accumulation of Smad5 and serve as a positive regulator of keratinocyte differentiation. Purity: ≥95% by SDS-PAGE.
