Dipotassium Bisperoxo(picolinato)oxovanadate (V)

Yellow solid. PROTECT FROM LIGHT. PACKAGED UNDER INERT GAS. A potent phosphotyrosine phosphatase inhibitor. Activates the insulin receptor kinase (IRK) in hepatoma cells. A potent competitive inhibitor of glucose-6-phosphatase (Ki = 420 nM in intact microsomes). Also reported to potently inhibit PTEN (IC50 = 31 nM). Purity: ≥90% by 51V-NMR.
