CaM Lyophilized. Lyophilized from protein solution with 2 mM EDTA. Calmodulin purifed from human brain. One unit is defined as the amount of calmodulin that will give rise to 50% of the maximal enzyme activation of a standard level of activator-deficient 3′,5′-cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase. Purity: ≥95% by Native PAGE. Prepared from tissue of individuals that have been shown by certified tests to be negative for HBsAg and for antibodies to HIV and HCV.
