CaM Kinase II Inhibitor 281-301
MHRQEAVDCLKKFNARRKLKG-NH2 Lyophilized solid. Supplied as a trifluoroacetate salt. A synthetic peptide corresponding to residues 281-301 of the CaM kinase II a-subunit. Acts as a potent inhibitor of CaM kinase II catalytic fragment (IC50 = 2 µM). The inhibition is competitive with respect to ATP and noncompetitive with respect to peptide substrate.
