White to off-white solid. An antihypertensive agent that competitively inhibits angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE; IC50= 23-35 nM) and acts as a reversible and competitive inhibitor of LTA4 hydrolase (IC50 = 11 µM). Inhibits angiogenesis and slows the growth of experimental tumors in rats. Reported to inhibit apoptosis in human lung epithelial cells (IC50 ~320 nM). Purity: ≥98% by titration.
