CSNK2A2 Liquid. In 200 mM NaCl, 20 mM Tris-HCl, 2 mM DTT, 1 mM EDTA, pH 7.4. AVOID FREEZE/THAW CYCLES. Recombinant, human casein kinase II, a2, (CKII, a2) fused to maltose binding protein (MBP) at the N-terminus and expressed in E. coli. CKII, a2 is a catalytic subunit of the serine/threonine protein kinase CKII. It is suitable for use in reactions where autophosphorylation of the regulatory CKII b-subunit is not desired. Shown to be extremely salt-sensitive with respect to its activity. Specific activity: ≥1 x 106 U/mg protein.
