Lyophilized from 130 mM NaCl, 20 mM Tris, 4 mM (NH4)2SO4 Recombinant, human caspase-9 fused at the N- and C- termini to a His•Tag® sequence and expressed in E. coli as a single polypeptide. Subsequently undergoes spontaneous autoprocessing to yield the active enzyme. MW: 11000 and 20000. Specific activity: ≥400 units/mg protein.
