ECGS Lyophilized. Lyophilized from sterile-filtered NaCl containing streptomycin sulfate. Native endothelial cell growth supplement from bovine neural tissue. A cell culture-medium supplement screened for contamination by bacteria, fungi, and mycoplasma. Mitogenic activity thought to be physically, chemically, and biologically distinct from that of FGF. Acts as a superior cloning factor for the isolation and growth of hybridoma cells and may eliminate the need for feeder cell layers.
