GzmB Liquid. In TBS, 50% glycerol. AVOID FREEZE/THAW CYCLES. Recombinant, human granzyme B expressed in E. coli. Granzyme B (GzmB) is a serine protease that is used by activated cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTL) to induce target cell apoptosis. It is involved in the perforation of target cells and initiation of proteolysis that leads the cell into the apoptosis pathway. Specific activity: ≥7.0 units/µg protein. One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that will hydrolyze 1 nmol Ac-IEPD-pNA per min 25° C, pH 8.0. EC 3.4.21.79. Ref.: Wilharm, E., et al. 1999. J. Biol. Chem. 274, 27331. Harris, J.
