GzmK Liquid. In PBS with 10% glycerol. AVOID FREEZE/THAW CYCLES. Recombinant, human granzyme K expressed in E. coli. Granzyme K belongs to a family of trypsin-like serine proteases localized in electron dense cytoplasmic granules of activated natural killer (NK) and cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTL). Like Granzyme A (Cat. No. 368044) and Granzyme B (Cat. No. 368043), Granzyme K can trigger DNA fragmentation and is involved in apoptosis. Specific activity: ≥20 units/µg protein. One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that will hydrolyze 1 nmol Z-Lys-SBzl per min 25°C, pH 8.0. Ref.: Hink-Schauer, C., et al. 2002. J. Biol. Chem., 277, 50923. Wilharm, E., et al. 1999. J.
