Growth-related Oncogene a
MGSA Lyophilized. Lyophilized from sterile-filtered PBS, 50 µg BSA/µg GROa Recombinant, human GROa expressed in E. coli. A CXC Chemokine that has been shown to bind with high affinity to the IL-8 receptor type B (CXCR2). Potent neutrophil attractant and activator. Higher levels of GROa are reported in cystic fibrosis lungs. Biological activity: ED50 = 0.15-0.3 µg/ml as measured by its ability to induce myeloperoxidase release from cytochalasin-treated neutrophils. Purity: ≥97% by SDS-PAGE.
