Comments: Ideal for cGMP radioimmunoassays. Produced by using 2′-O-succinyl cGMP conjugated to BSA as an antigen. Dilution of antibody (50 µl) to 1:3000 provides enough material to assay 6000 tubes with a sensitivity to <0.5 pg cGMP in a 50 µl sample. Concentration of cGMP producing 50% displacement from total binding is 1.50 pg in a 50 µl sample. Does not exhibit cross-reactivity with other nucleotides (AMP, cAMP, ADP, or ATP). Concentrations of GMP or GTP exceeding 100 mM were required to produce 50% displacement from total binding. Protocol, anti-cGMP, and cGMP standard are provided.
