8-NBD-cGMP, Na

Lyophilized. HYGROSCOPIC. A potent, non-cell-permeable, fluorescent activator of isozymes 1a and 1b for PKG. 8-NBD-cGMP is almost non-fluorescent in aqueous solutions, however, it fluoresces strongly in hydrophobic environments such as in a hydrophobic protein binding site. Purity: ≥98% by HPLC. Excitation max.: 475 nm, Emission max.: 525 nm CAS 115993-88-9. Note: 5 µmol = 3.03 mg.
