N-(2-Guanidinoethyl)-5-isoquinolinesulfonamide, 2HCl

White powder. PROTECT FROM LIGHT. A cell-permeable inhibitor of protein kinase A (Ki = 2.3 µM), CaM kinase II (Ki = 13 µM), myosin light chain kinase (Ki = 150 µM), protein kinase C (Ki = 40 µM), and protein kinase G (Ki = 1.3 µM). An intracellular Ca2+ antagonist with no effect on cardiac function. Causes selective pulmonary vasodilation during pulmonary hypertension. Purity: >98% by TLC. CAS 92564-34-6.
