Oil dissolved in EtOH. 50 µg/ml in ethanol. An endogenous lipid mediator that increases intracellular Ca2+ release in human neutrophils in a biphasic manner. Activates the release of arachidonic acid and diacylglycerol. Modulates neurotransmission in the central nervous system through both its pre- and postsynaptic actions. Purity: ≥98% by TLC.
