MAPKAP Kinase-2 Inhibitor
MK2 Inhibitor White lyophilized solid. Supplied as a trifluoroacetate salt. HYGROSCOPIC. A 13-residue peptide that acts as a potent and selective inhibitor of mammalian heat-shock protein (Hsp25) kinase [also called mitogen-activated protein kinase-activated protein kinase-2 (MAPKAP kinase-2)]. Inhibition is competitive with respect to the substrate peptide (Ki = 8.1 µM) and non-competitive with respect to ATP (Ki = 134 µM). Purity: ≥98% by HPLC.
