Mammalian Hsp60 is localized to the mitochondrial matrix and interacts with multiple proteins during translocation and folding. It is present in all species tested and exhibits a remarkable sequence homology to the E. coli Hsp60, GroEL. Purity: ≥90% by SDS-PAGE.
