1-[2-Amino-5-(6-carboxyindol-2-yl)phenoxy]-2-(2′-amino-5′-methylphenoxy)ethane-N,N,N′,N′-tetraacetic Acid Pentaacetoxymethyl Ester

Yellow solid. PROTECT FROM LIGHT. PACKAGED UNDER INERT GAS. Cell-permeable ester derivative of INDO 1. After crossing the cell membrane, INDO 1/AM is rapidly hydrolyzed by cytoplasmic esterases and remains trapped within the cell. Can be used to selectively monitor Ca2+ levels in mitochondria and in the cytosol. It is insensitive to Mg2+. Note: 1 set = 10 x 100 µg. Purity: ≥95% by HPLC. Excitation max.: 349 nm (low), 331 nm (high), Emission max.: 482 nm (low), 398 nm (high) CAS 112926-02-0.
