Indole-3-methanol Off-white solid. PROTECT FROM LIGHT. PACKAGED UNDER INERT GAS. A metabolite of glucobrassicin found in cruciferous vegetables that acts as an anticancer agent and a free radical scavenger. Also inhibits the expression of cyclin-dependent kinase 6 (Cdk6) and induces G1 cell cycle arrest in human breast cancer cell lines independent of estrogen receptor signaling.
