D-Ins(1,4,5)P3, 3Li

White solid. HYGROSCOPIC. Important metabolite that controls a variety of cellular functions such as proliferation, metabolism, and secretion. Enzymatic hydrolysis of the parent phospholipid produces Ins(1,4,5)P3, which is then released into the cytoplasm and functions as a second messenger for mobilization of Ca2+ from intracellular stores. Purity: ≥95% by HPLC.
