Liquid. In MeOH:NH4OAc buffer (65:35), pH 5.6. Implicated in renal vasoconstriction associated with sepsis. Also plays a role in bronchioconstriction. Produced by conjugation of LTA4 with reduced glutathione. Reported to be a tight binding inhibitor of microsomal glutathione transferase-1. Has been implicated in pathophysiology of asthma. Purity: ≥98% by HPLC. RTECS MB9143500, CAS 72025-60-6.
