Yellow solid. PROTECT FROM LIGHT. PACKAGED UNDER INERT GAS. An excellent quenched fluorescence substrate for MMP-1 and MMP-9. Both enzymes cleave this substrate between Gly and Cys(Me), liberating a fluorescent cleavage product. Suitable for inhibitor screening and determining Ki values. Purity: ≥95% by HPLC. Excitation max.: ~365 nm, Emission max.: ~450 nm
