An antimetastatic, 15-meric phosphorothioate antisense oligonucleotide (Tm = 35°C) that is reported to suppress MMP-7 expression at both the mRNA and protein levels. Derived from the human MMP-7 DNA sequence in a sequence-specific manner in CaR-1, a human colon cancer cell line.
