No. 401009) that blocks superoxide-induced lipid peroxidation in rat liver mitochondrial preparations without disrupting normal mitochondrial functions when used at concentrations below 25 µM. Selectively and rapidly traps carbon-centered secondary radicals, but is unreactive towards superoxide anion (O2– •) or alkylperoxide radicals (ROO•). Purity: ≥95% by HPLC.
