White solid. A potent inhibitor of the ceramidase found in human kidney and cerebellum. Blocks the conversion of ceramide to sphingosine. A specific inhibitor of acid ceramidase (IC₅₀ ~ 500 �M). Purity: ≥98% by TLC. CAS 111-58-0.
