Acidic, Ca2+-binding glycoprotein found in a variety of embryonic and adult tissues containing actively proliferating and remodeling cells. Differs from the bone-derived osteonectin in its glycosylation pattern and its collagen binding specificity. Purity: ≥95% by SDS-PAGE.
