Lyophilized brownish solid. PROTECT FROM MOISTURE. HYGROSCOPIC. Native phospholipase C from Bacillus cereus. Catalyzes the hydrolysis of lecithins to 1,2-diglycerides and choline phosphate. Activity: ≥50 units/mg dry weight. One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that will hydrolyze 1 µmol of lecithin per min at 37°C, pH 8.0. pH optimum 8.0. EC 3.1.4.3, RTECS SZ6116000, CAS 9001-86-9.
