Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase 1B Substrate I Lyophilized. Supplied as a trifluoroacetate salt. HYGROSCOPIC. An excellent substrate for mammalian Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase 1B (Cat. No. 539735; Km = 3.9 mM) and Yersinia Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase (Cat. No. 539734). The sequence is derived from an autophosphorylation site (Tyr992) of EGFR. The assay is based on marked differences in the spectra of peptide before and after the removal of the phosphate group. Increase in absorbance at 282 nm or the fluorescence at 305 nm can be followed.
