Rhodamine-conjugated Bisindolylmaleimide Inhibitor

Purple solid. PROTECT FROM LIGHT. Fluorescent probe for protein kinase C (PKC). Binds to the catalytic site of all PKC enzymes. Provides a rapid and simple means for visualizing the distribution of PKC in cells. An effective PKC inhibitor (IC₅₀ = 3.3 µM for PKC_a; IC₅₀ = 30 µM for PKA). May require cell permeabilization.
