Liquid. In 250 mM NaCl, 50 mM MES, 500 µM b-mercaptoethanol, 50% glycerol, pH 6.0. Recombinant, rat, soluble a2,3-(O)-Sialyltransferase expressed in S. frugiperda insect cells. Specific activity: ≥1 unit/mg protein. One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that will transfer 1 µmol of sialic acid from CMP-sialic acid to Galb1,3GalNAca1-benzyl per min at 37°C, pH 6.0. EC 2.4.99.4. Note: 1 mU = 1 milliunit.
