Detection of human tau, phosphorylated at Thr181, by immunoblotting. Samples: Whole cell lysate from CV-1 cells stably expressing human four repeat tau and SV40 and small T antigen to induce specific inhibition of PP2A. Primary antibody: PhosphoDetect™ Anti-Tau (pThr181) Rabbit pAb (Cat. No. 577804) (0.50 mg/ml) pre-incubated without peptide (lanes 1), with phosphopeptide immunogen (lane 2), non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the immunogen (lane 3), or a generic phosphoserine containing peptide (lane 4). Detection: chemiluminescence.
