N,N′-bis(2,3-Dihydroxybenzoyl)-1,3-phenylenediamine MST-312 White solid. PROTECT FROM LIGHT. PACKAGED UNDER INERT GAS. A cell-permeable, bis-catechol containing m-phenylenediamide compound that displays anti-proliferative properties. Acts as a potent, reversible inhibitor of telomerase activity (IC50 = 670 nM, TRAP lysate prepared from U937 cells). Prolonged treatment of MST-312 has been shown to cause telomere shortening and growth arrest in U937 cells. Does not inhibit the activity of Taq DNA polymerase (IC50 >3 µM). Purity: ≥95% by HPLC.
