Testosterone-estradiol Binding Globulin

Liquid. In 20 mM Tris-HCl, 10% glycerol, pH 7.4. AVOID FREEZE/THAW CYCLES. Native, highly purified human sex hormone binding globulin. Circulating transport glycoprotein originating from the liver and possessing a high affinity binding site for the gonadal steroids. Purity: ≥95% by SDS-PAGE. Contaminants: Dihydrotestosterone: ≤10 pg/ml; testosterone, estradiol: trace; hCG, FSH, GH, LH, TSH, prolactin: not detected. Prepared from serum that has been shown by certified tests to be negative for HBsAg and for antibodies to HIV and HCV.
