White solid. Irreversible inhibitor of chymotrypsin. Useful for inhibiting chymotrypsin activity in trypsin preparations. Inhibits apoptosis in thymocytes. Blocks the induction of nitric oxide synthase by g-interferon and lipopolysaccharides (EC50 = 20 µM). Purity: ≥98% by TLC. RTECS XT5613500, CAS 402-71-1.
