N-(3′,4′-Dimethoxycinnamoyl)anthranilic Acid

Pale yellow solid. PROTECT FROM LIGHT. PACKAGED UNDER INERT GAS. An anthranilic acid analog that acts as a potent inhibitor of VEGF- and vascular permeability factor-induced angiogenesis and collagen synthesis. Inhibits VEGF- and PMA-stimulated PKC activity in retinal capillary endothelial cells without affecting the VEGF binding or VEGF receptor phosphorylation. Also has antiallergic, anti-inflammatory, and antiproliferative properties. Induces Ca2+ mobilization in vascular smooth muscle. Purity: ≥95% by HPLC. RTECS DG8731000, CAS 53902-12-8.
