Liquid. In 100 mM NaCl, 50 mM HEPES, 10% glycerol, pH 8.0. AVOID FREEZE/THAW CYCLES. Recombinant, human ubiquitin conjugating enzyme 5b fused to GST and expressed in E. coli. E2s are a family of ubiquitin carrier proteins that transfer ubiquitin to the e-lysine of proteins designated for degradation. UbcH5b is a human homolog of the yeast UBC4/5 family which has been shown to play many important regulatory roles in inflammation and cancer. Purity: ≥95% by SDS-PAGE.
