Solid. PROTECT FROM LIGHT. PACKAGED UNDER INERT GAS. Has immunomodulatory properties in vitro and in vivo. Prevents the development of clinical diabetes in NOD mice, an animal model of human autoimmune diabetes. Regulates c-myc transcription. Induces reversible hydrolysis of sphingomyelin cycle and generates ceramide. Stimulates intestinal Ca2+ and phosphate transport and mobilizes Ca2+ from bone. Purity: ≥99% by HPLC.
