N-[5-(3-Dimethylaminobenzamido)-2-methylphenyl]-4-hydroxybenzamide Off-white solid. PROTECT FROM LIGHT. PACKAGED UNDER INERT GAS. A potent and specific inhibitor of the protein kinase c-Raf (IC50 = 70 nM). Inhibits c-Raf with ten-fold increased potency compared to B-Raf, but does not inhibit many other protein kinases (even at 50 µM) with the exception of SAPK2a/p38a (IC50 = 2 µM) and SAPK2b/p38b2 (IC50 = 2 µM).
