Product Description

The Magnetight™ HT96™ Stand is designed for high-throughput bioseparations using magnetic beads in a 96-well plate format. The stand uses 24 permanent, extremely strong, rare earth magnet rods arranged to fit between the wells of 2-ml 96-well Deep Well plates and 300-µl flat-bottom 96-well microplates. Each magnet rod pulls the beads in four adjacent wells to the side of the wells to allow for efficient buffer removal with a manual or automated pipetting device. For washing and elution steps, plates are removed from the magnet and beads are easily resuspended in the absence of the magnetic field. This stand is ideal for use with the RoboPop™ His•Mag™ and GST•Mag™ Purification Kit.
