Comments: Detects and quantifies the level of STAT1 protein independent of its phosphorylation state. STAT1 is a member of STAT family of proteins which exists in a latent state in the cytoplasm and is directly activated in response to stimulation by interferons-a and -g. It participates in the regulation of cytokine-signaling and cellular responses and plays an important role in the growth and differentiation of a variety of cell types. This kit is designed for use with human cells and tissues.
