Comments: Detects and quantifies the levels of insulin receptor (IR) b-subunit independent of its phosphorylation status. The IR is a cell surface receptor that belongs to the superfamily of the growth factor receptor tyrosine kinases and regulates multiple signaling pathways. Although this kit is designed for use with human cell lines, it cross-reacts with mouse and rat cells.
