Detection of human IRS-1, phosphorylated at Tyr941, by immunoblotting. Samples: Whole cell lysate from CHO-T cells transfected with human IRS-1without (lane 1) and treated with insulin (50 nM for 5 min) (lanes 2-5). Primary antibody: PhosphoDetect™ Anti-IRS-1 (pTyr941) Rabbit pAb (Cat. No. GF1004) pre-incubated without peptide (lanes 1, 2), with non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the immunogen (lane 3), a generic phosphoserine-containing peptide (lane 4), or phosphopeptide immunogen (lane 5) (1:1000). Detection: chemiluminescence.
