Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor-1 Lyophilized. Lyophilized from sterile-filtered PBS, 300 mM NaCl, 50 µg BSA/µg of cytokine. Recombinant, human VEGFR-1 expressed in S. frugiperda insect cells. Plays an important role in angiogenesis. Upon binding to VEGF, the receptor undergoes dimerization and is activated, leading to downstream signaling. Biological activity: EC50 of 15-30 ng/ml in a cell proliferation assay using human umbilical vein endothelial cells. Purity: ≥90% by SDS-PAGE. Contaminants: Endotoxin: ≤1 EU/µg cytokine.
